This isn’t your typical virtual conference. There won’t be any panel sessions or keynote speakers. Venture Dallas 2020 is a month long experience that simply connects startups to investors. Hosted on Thumbraise, a video pitch platform, we are excited to promote the rapidly growing startup ecosystems in the state by connecting Texas startups with venture capital investors across the United States.
Startups are asked to apply to pitch via a simple two-minute application. Participation in Venture Dallas 2020 is free for qualifying startups. If selected to participate, you will be given access to the Thumbraise mobile app platform in which you will be able to create a short video, similar to an Instagram Story, to give a brief pitch of your company. Your pitch will be available to view by investors from September 15 – October 18, 2020. Investors and founders will “meet” inside the Thumbraise app for one-on-one meetings during this time-frame. Whether you are currently fundraising — or planning to in the near future — you don’t want to miss this opportunity to connect with hundreds of venture capital investors from across the country.
What are the qualifications to pitch? Are you a fast-growing Texas tech company with two or more employees? Then you’re a good fit. Ready to apply? It takes just two minutes!
Investors are requested to join the Venture Dallas Investor Network. Participating is free for qualified investors. You will be given access to the 2020 Venture Dallas Thumbraise platform from September 15th to October 18th. There you will be able to view curated startup pitches and schedule one-on-one meetings with founders. In addition, you will have the ability to network with your peers that have also registered for the conference.
